This is a leather full sole ballet slipper. It comes in white, black and pink. It's a good begining shoe, but the elastic draw strings are very long and do not stay tied. As a dance teacher, this is a nightmare shoe, as students are always asking to have their bows tied. Knotting and cutting the elastic draw string does not work on this shoe, either, as the round elastic draw strings don't stay tied, even in a knot. The benefit to this shoe is that it comes in many different widths, so it is a good option for a difficult-to-fit foot. JM-Dance Teacher, Chicago, IL
